IGNITE25 CHOREOGRAPHY COMPETITION
Do you love making up dances, and performing for family and friends?

Well, we have got something super exciting for you!
Want to have an afternoon of fun, get on stage and have a chance to win some prizes?
You don't have to be part of the performance team, don't have to have had private lessons,
you just have to WANT to get on Stage :)
StepRight Studios would like to invite any and all of our students (tinies right through to the mums and dads) to create your own routines - by yourself, in a duo/trio, or in a small group and showcase it to friends and family.
This is a Student Choreography competition so dance your own steps.
Dress up in your choice of costume and strut your stuff for family and friends.

Some rules apply - including a maximum routine length of 1min30sec for solos and 2min for Duo/Trio/Groups so by completing this form you confirm that you have read all of the terms and conditions before submitting your entry.
Please also note that this is a FUN event to showcase what our kids can produce (not the parents) and should not be stressful for anyone involved. We just want to see our kids shining on stage with their own creations.
What is Ignite?
IGNITE has been the brainchild of Miss Jes. It began due to our limited performance opportunities during the Covid restrictions. This idea then grew as I recalled running small in-house choreography comps in my early days as a dance teacher and how much fun the students would have performing their own routines to a captive audience. IGNITE was born and decided to be only for Step Right Studios Students and their siblings. Now in its 4th year we are very proud to be bringing the opportunity for our students to get build confidence by performing their own creations in an intimate and safe environment .
We want to IGNITE student's passion, IGNITE their creativity and IGNITE their sense of pride.
A choreography competition is an opportunity for students to create their own performance piece. Students are judged on

Plan you routines now and get your entries in before they sell out.
Choose the age group based on the performers year of birth.
You can add solos for multiple siblings on the same order, as well as any Duo/trios and or Groups. Just add the name of the competitors and we will clarify with an email once all entries have been received.
